How can I be involved?

There are many ways to help out, including a number that don’t involve getting dirt under your fingernails.

➢ Have a small garden. We have a few 4 x 10 foot raised beds that can be used by individuals as their own garden space.
➢ Help maintain the garden. As gardens go, we’re designing it to be relatively low-maintenance, but weed’s still need to be
pulled, plants still need water, …
➢ Harvesting, distribution. We need quite a bit of help here, to coordinate with groups that can use the produce, and to
harvest, clean and get it to them.
➢ Building projects. There are a number of structures that we still need to finish.
➢ Helping with the web site and social media sites. You don’t have to be an IT whiz kid for this. Besides maintaining sites, we
also need pictures and other material to populate them with.
➢ Help make the garden accessible to others. You could help someone who’s mobility is limited get to and around the garden, give tours, take garden materials to others, or just be a spokesperson for the garden to spread awareness.
