➢ Can my dog visit? Yes it can. There are some refuse bags by the gate, we’d appreciate if you picked up after them. It’s not a show garden, it can tolerate a little damage; don’t panic if your pet damages a plant or two.
➢ What are the garden hours? We don’t lock the gates, but it isn’t equipped for use after dark, so practically speaking, dawn to dusk.
➢ I’d like to take cuttings or collect seeds. What should I do? If you know what you’re doing, by all means, carry on. One of our goals if for the garden to be a source of plant material for other gardens. The potting shed has tools and supplies for you to use. (If you’re not sure what to do, read on.)
➢ I’d like to help or to use material from the garden, but I’m not sure what to do. We are happy to help you get started. Leave a note in the box at the kiosk, or send an email to bethelgardenfriends@gmail.com . Our response time may not be great, but within a couple of days, someone will get back to you to help out (it may be faster if you leave a number where you can be reached by phone or text).
➢ I know how to do something; I’d like to do a demonstration. Fabulous, we want to be an education venue. Let us know what you have in mind and what you might need help with; we’ll post it a notice on this site and assist where we can.
➢ I have a group that might like to be involved; what should I do? We have several groups that help with the garden. Just contact us, we’ll help them get started.
