Bethel Garden is dedicated to promoting healthy eating, providing an education venue, supporting emotional health and providing a social space for the community. It is a mix of annual and perennial produce and flowers. It is part food forest, where edible plants are intermingled in the way that they would be in a forest, and part annual garden. The food and flowers are produced for everyone to use. The garden only has a purpose if you use it.
What can the garden provide?
➢ Gardening space: about half an acre of fenced-in space,
maintained by volunteers
➢ A few raised beds that individuals can adopt for their own use
➢ A potting shed, with tools and supplies
➢ A meeting space that can be scheduled for garden-related
activities
➢ Information and advice about plants and their use
